I have been making knives by hand since 2012. Each blade is forged as close to the customers order as possible. In the forging process we allow the steel to tell us what it wants to be. All our knives are original and we do not use others designs. We use both repurposed ( leaf and coil springs)and commercially bought steel.
I am a retired firefighter who has always enjoyed creating and working with my hands. As a kid I repaired surfboards which led me to making my own. I currently Smith part time when not working or doing something with my amazing wife Julie and or my beautiful daughters.

Ira made me the best knife custom with paracord it's going to be utilized at the fire department , personal use , in my car as well as personal protection. I will post pictures on my Facebook page and Ira has taken pictures of it. It's the baddest looking knife if you haven't had a knife made by IRA get a hold of HIM on Facebook have him make you a Custom Knife THEY ARE incredible !! Worth IT !!!

Past work
All our knives are made to order and currently the wait time is about a month. Occasionally we have a blade I was inspired to make and will be offered for sale.
All custom orders require a 50% deposit, if steel or other materials are ordered for your knife , the deposit is non refundable.

I am a retired Firefighter who has always had an artistic edge. Starting with drawing and commercial art in school , then making and repairing surfboards in my youth on Long Island. Bladesmithing seemed like a natural fit for an artistic release.
